Transparent mechanics.
No hidden quality score.
These rules explain how Agency League Europe handles factual marketplace discovery, free rotation, paid visibility, monthly and all-time rankings, buyer briefs and agency participation.
Four rules that govern
the whole model.
Facts vs visibility
Agency identity, location, capabilities and evidence are not converted into the paid League score.
Paid means paid
Commercial prominence is labelled and should never be presented as editorial merit.
Buyer control
A buyer chooses the first agency and must actively consent again before wider brief sharing.
Invalid money is reversible
Refunds, reversals or invalidated transactions should not create lasting League score.
How paid position
is calculated.
1. Paid agencies appear above the free rotation
Within a marketplace or League board, agencies with valid paid visibility for the relevant period are shown before eligible free agencies. This is a commercial ordering rule.
2. Monthly rank uses current-month settled contribution only
The monthly League is intentionally temporary. Historic contribution does not carry into the current monthly paid score.
3. All-time rank uses cumulative valid contribution
The all-time League preserves participation history. An agency with positive valid cumulative contribution remains represented in the all-time paid board.
4. VAT and tax do not buy ranking score
League score reflects the commercial contribution itself, not statutory tax collected at checkout.
5. Only valid settled payments should create lasting score
Pending, failed, denied, reversed, refunded or otherwise invalidated money should not create lasting League score.
6. Overtaking is mechanical, not editorial
Where the interface displays an amount required to overtake another agency, that amount is derived from the ranking mechanic. It is not a recommendation to spend or an assessment of expected business value.
At no point should “#1”, “top”, “leader”, “winner” or similar League language be interpreted as an independent quality rating. The League ranks paid commercial visibility according to its published contribution rule.
Free agencies remain
part of the marketplace.
Stable for one ISO week.
Eligible free agencies use a deterministic weekly rotation rather than reshuffling on every page load. The rotation changes with the new ISO week, beginning Monday at 00:00 UTC.
Visibility without fake randomness.
A stable weekly order gives free agencies meaningful exposure while keeping the experience consistent for buyers during the week.
The weekly free rotation applies to eligible free agencies after paid commercial positions. Free rotation does not override valid paid visibility.
One brief first.
More only with explicit consent.
Buyer chooses
The buyer selects an agency or starts from a relevant category/country context.
Brief is sent
The project brief is routed to the selected agency using the private contact route held by Agency League.
Alternatives may be suggested
Agency League can identify up to three relevant alternatives using relevance first, then paid visibility where applicable.
Second consent
The brief is shared with alternatives only if the buyer explicitly opts in again. No automatic wider distribution.
How alternatives should be selected
Alternative suggestions should remain relevant to the buyer’s requested capability, geography or project context. Paid visibility can influence the order among relevant agencies, but should not turn irrelevant agencies into recommendations. Free rotation remains a fallback where appropriate.
Profiles should describe
what actually exists.
Factual profile information
Agency profiles can include identity, website, headquarters, service categories, markets served, languages, platforms, leadership and evidence. Agency League may review, edit, reject, unpublish or request clarification where information is incomplete, misleading or unsupported.
The board can change
when the facts change.
Invalid transactions can change rank.
Refunds, reversals, payment corrections or reconciliation issues can alter monthly or all-time score after an earlier ranking state was displayed.
Factual information can be updated.
Agency League may correct profile data or request evidence where a published claim appears inaccurate, outdated or misleading.
The mechanic applied
to real data.
The ranking below is rendered from current Agency League data. It should be read using the rules above.
Need an agency for a real project?
Send one useful project brief to the agency you choose. Afterwards, you can explicitly opt in to compare up to three relevant alternatives — never automatic sharing.
Short answers to
common questions.
Can a free agency appear in the marketplace?
Yes. Eligible free agencies can appear in the stable weekly free rotation and receive buyer enquiries. Paid participation is optional.
Do paying agencies appear above free agencies?
Yes, where valid paid visibility applies. This is a commercial ordering rule and not a quality assessment.
When does the free rotation change?
The free marketplace order is designed to remain stable during an ISO week and reset with the new week, beginning Monday at 00:00 UTC.
Does VAT increase League score?
No. VAT or other statutory tax collected at checkout does not increase the commercial contribution score used for ranking.
What happens after a refund?
Refunded, reversed or otherwise invalidated contribution should not remain as lasting League score. Ranking can therefore change after payment corrections.
Is the number one agency recommended by Agency League?
No. League position reflects paid commercial visibility only. It is not a recommendation, review, quality score, award or certification.
Can my project brief be sent to several agencies automatically?
No. The buyer chooses the first agency. Sharing with up to three relevant alternatives requires a second explicit opt-in.
Can Agency League edit or remove an agency profile?
Yes. Profiles may be corrected, moderated, rejected or unpublished where information is incomplete, misleading, unsupported or otherwise inconsistent with marketplace rules.
